Transneft Kama Region completes scheduled repair operations on oil trunk pipelines

   Transneft Kama Region completed scheduled repair operations on four oil trunk pipelines (OTPs).

   Thus, specialists of the company eliminated a defect on the Nozhovka – Mishkino – Kiyengop oil pipeline in the Republic of Udmurtia by cutting out a spool. Two line valves were replaced on the Kiyengop – Naberezhnye Chelny OTP and a main pump was replaced at Malaya Purga oil pump station.

   Four valves were repaired on the Naberezhnye Chelny – Almetievsk OTP in the Republic of Tatarstan and pressure tap units replaced on the Severokamsk – Perm OTP in Perm Region.  

   Specialists from the Perm, Udmurtia, and Almetievsk regional oil pipeline directorates of Transneft Kama Region were involved in the repair operations.

   The operations were carried out within the implementation of the integrated technical upgrading, revamping, and overhaul programme of Transneft Kama Region.  The goal of the carried out process-supporting efforts was to maintain the high operational safety of Transneft Kama Region’s oil trunk pipelines.
