Transneft Kama Region has prepared its fleet for the navigation period.

The vessels are involved in solving seasonal production tasks aimed at improving the reliability and ensuring the oil and petroleum products uninterrupted transportation, including in additional control over trunk pipelines’ underwater crossings via water barriers and transportation of people and cargo.

As part of the inter-navigation period measures, maintenance and necessary repairs of small vessels were carried out. All floating crafts underwent technical inspection in Russian River Register and State Small Vessels Inspectorate. The ships were also tested for compliance with sanitary and hygienic and epidemiological requirements.

Transneft Kama Region operates 109 water transport vehicles; among them are boom-laying boats that form booms, oil skimmers, aircushion vessels and other floating crafts.

To promptly involve a large number of floating crafts and emergency response teams until 2028, Transneft Kama Region plans to create 3 fleet bases near the Kuybyshev, the Nizhnekamsk and the Votkinsk reservoirs. The construction of the first one is scheduled for 2021.
