Transneft Kama Region, as part of its charitable activities, has provided financial assistance to eight preschool educational institutions and secondary schools located in rural areas of operational activity regions: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurtian Republic, Perm Territory and Samara Region.
The allocated funds were used to purchase and install office equipment, including personal computers, printers, laptops and multifunctional printers. Portable hand enlargers were purchased for teaching visually impaired children. Also, among the educational and play equipment are interactive sets for classes, a children's play complex, a sandbox. In addition, the allocated funds were used to purchase comfortable ergonomic furniture and refrigerators for educational institutions.
Providing charitable assistance to institutions located in rural areas will provide equal opportunities in comparison with schools in large cities for organising a high-quality educational process.
"Creating a comfortable environment for successful learning is one of the priorities and thanks to Transneft Kama Region assistance, this task is much easier for us to solve," said Tatyana Yentaltseva, Director of Secondary School No. 16.
As a responsible company, Transneft Kama Region actively contributes to the social development of regions where its operating facilities are located. Support is traditionally provided to nursery and secondary schools, as well as to medical and social institutions. To preserve cultural and historical memory, the company helps search units; its volunteers restore memorials and support veterans.
