Transneft Kama Region Specialists Hold Open Lessons in 20 Schools

Specialists from five regional oil pipeline directorates of Transneft Kama Region have held lessons in twenty schools in regions of the company’s operation: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt and the Chuvash Republics, Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk, Ulyanovsk, Kirov and Samara Regions.

Information activities with schoolchildren were carried out during April in the format of open lessons as part of the implementation of volunteer education activities. The goal was to popularise professions of the industry and promote vocational guidance for schoolchildren.

The company’s representatives told schoolchildren about specifics of Transneft Kama Region work, the basic principles of oil and petroleum products transportation, showed high school students short videos about the industrial safety system in high-tech production. On the eve of increased fire danger period and International Earth Day which is celebrated on 22 April, themed lessons on fire safety and ecology were also held.

Transneft Kama Region annually cooperates with secondary educational institutions in regions of the company’s operation. One of the priority areas is to provide charitable assistance to schools for repairs and equipment in order to create conditions for in-depth study of exact sciences.
