The Victory Museum has awarded Transneft Kama Region for the best exposition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
More than 100 Russian companies and organisations took part in the contest. The event was held as part of the Victory Territory international project which was initiated in 2017 and aimed at creating a single space for military history of the 20th century.
Transneft Kama Region presented to the expert jury the Let Us Bow to Those Great Years exposition which was opened in the museum of history in the Year of Memory and Glory. The implemented project is dedicated to the contribution to the Great Victory of pioneer oil pipeliners who stood at the origins of the company in the post-war years. An important place in the museum is given to the preservation of the memory of the war by the modern generation, including the activities of search teams with the participation of Transneft Kama Region’s employees.
The award ceremony took place online on the Zoom platform and on the official YouTube channel of the Victory Museum, the main military history museum of Russia.
As a result of the contest, Transneft Kama Region’s project was given the opportunity to become a public branch of the Victory Museum.
