Transneft Kama Region finishes routine repairs at three oil trunk pipelines

Transneft Kama Region has finished routine repairs at three oil trunk pipelines (OTPs): Kiyengop – Naberezhnye Chelny, Nozhovka – Mishkino – Kiyengop and Naberezhnye Chelny – Almetievsk.

Eight substandard air escape valve T-pieces were replaced, five defects were eliminated by cutting out the pipe spool and one substandard air escape valve was eliminated at the Company’s oil pipelines sections. A newly built section of the 1,044.4-metre long Kiyengop – Naberezhnye Chelny OTP (oil trunk pipeline) was connected.

The repairs were conducted in the territories of Republic of Tatarstan and Udmurtian Republic by the specialists of the Udmurtia, Perm, Almetievsk and Kazan regional oil pipeline directorates (RPDs).

All works were performed within the scope of an integrated technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programme of Transneft Kama Region, aimed to maintain the high operational reliability of oil trunk pipelines.
