Transneft Kama Region JSC has commissioned two petroleum products pump stations within Sever-25 project

Transneft Kama Region JSC has commissioned two new petroleum products pump stations built within the framework of the investment project Sever-25. Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, Aleksey Sapsay, Vice President of Transneft, Robert Galiev, Director General of Transneft Kama Region JSC, the representatives of the Republic’s ministries, departments and contractors of Tatarstan took part in the opening ceremony in Laishevsky district of Tatarstan on 18 December 2017.

   The investment project anticipates increased volumes of diesel to be pumped in the direction of Port Primorsk – up to 25 million tonnes a year in accordance with the energy strategy of Russia.

   Transneft Kama Region JSC has carried out construction of the facilities at the operating petroleum products trunk pipeline Almetyevsk – Nizhny Novgorod in the territory of Tatarstan: pump stations (PS) Mikhailovka-1 and Kovali-1. In addition, two pipe-end pump stations (PEPS) Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk-2 have been revamped. Thus, the real throughput capacity of the Almetyevsk-Starolikeevo section rose from 7.0 to 11.5 million tonnes a year.

   The employees of Transneft Kama Region JSC and the representatives of the contractors were awarded at a high-profile ceremony. For successful implementation of the tasks set they were awarded the medal For Valorous Labor, the title Honored Oiler of RT and Merited Builder of RT, along with letters of appreciation from the President of Tatarstan.

   The investment project to increase the volumes of diesel pumped in the direction of Port Primorsk to 25 million tonnes a year anticipates the construction of two pump stations and overhaul of two PEPS. In November 2016, Transneft Kama Region JSC built and commissioned PS Tingovatovo-1 in Chuvash Republic.

   The investment project facilities will also provide for increased volumes of petroleum products delivered to Tatar plants TAIF and TANECO – 3.2 million and 3.8 million tonnes, respectively.
