Transneft Kama Region JSC has completed the scheduled work on six trunk oil pipelines.

Company’s specialists on the linear part of Kaltasy-Kuybyshev trunk pipeline eliminated a defect by cutting out a spool and repaired two block valves. Two slide valves were repaired on Almetyevsk-Kaleykino trunk pipeline, and one slide valve – on Almetyevsk-Kuybyshev-1 trunk pipeline. Besides, three block valves were repaired at Aznakaevo pump station, and a defect was eliminated on the linear part of Chekmagush-Aznakaevo trunk pipeline.

During scheduled works, Almetievsk-Gorky-2 truck pipeline section of 567 m long constructed for the increase of oil supply to the TANECO plant was connected to the pipeline. Besides, hydrotesting was completed for the intersection between the main and backup lines of the submerged part of this pipeline across Kama. The second constructed section of 169 m long was connected on Kiengop - Naberezhnye Chelny looping.

Specialists from Perm, Udmurtia, Almetievsk and Romashkino district oil pipeline departments of Transneft Kama Region JSC participated in the repair works.

All works were completed within the complex programme of technical re-equipment, reconstruction and overhaul of Transneft Kama Region JSC. Objective – maintain trunk oil pipeline operation reliability.
